RushTrail is an on-demand shuttle bus service application that connects users to bus services that picks you up from digital stops near you. RushTrail provides reliable and affordable first-mile-last-mile and region to region journeys which sends you directly to your desired destination faster and more conveniently.

With RushTrail, you can say goodbye to long walks to transit stations under Singapore’s erratic weather. Where can I download the app?

The RushTrail Mobile Application can be found and downloaded on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Search for “RushTrail” and look for our logo to make sure it’s us that you are connecting with!


What happens when my app crashes?

Stay calm! You can try shutting the RushTrail app, wait a short while and reopen the app again. This enables the app to refresh and reload. After reopening the RushTrail app, please check your information related to payment, ride processes (if any) and personal information. Should you encounter any critical errors pertaining to the above matters, please immediately call us at +65 6871 8817 for assistance.

RushTrail picks you up anytime, anywhere. Your locations may be subjected to prior unlocking (between 2-3 working days) as we need to ensure that your designated pick-up and/or drop-off points are safe.

Yes! You will be required to fill in your desired route details in order to make a booking prior to your date of ride. Take note that we do require an upfront, non-committed deposit as an escrow to your ride interest to deter any ride request from "itchy fingers".

Account Registration

Follow these few simple steps to register a RushTrail account:

Step 1: Open the RushTrail App.
Step 2: Click “Create Account” and fill out all the required information.
Step 3: Click “Sign Up” to proceed. An OTP Code will be sent to you via SMS or email to verify the authenticity of the information you have provided.
Step 4: Enter the OTP Code and you’re ready to make a your first booking with us!

Unfortunately, we are currently only accepting Singapore numbers for now. To address this issue, we suggest that you purchase a Singapore SIM card or, for special circumstances, drop us an email at info@rushowl.sg.

Manage Bookings

Follow these few simple steps to book a trip:
Step 1: Open the RushTrail app.
Step 2: Click on "Find a Ride". If you already know the route code (eg. R50) of your desired route, search it under “Search by Code”. Alternatively, do a search based on your desired locations under “Find Route”.
Step 3: Once you have determined your route, select “Book a ride” and indicate your preferred pick-up and drop-off points from the given list and click “Proceed” to continue.
Step 4: Select number of passengers.
Step 5: Choose your date of ride and time slot, scroll down to select a ticket and proceed.
Step 6: Review your booking summary (destinations, time, number of pax and price) and select your mode of payment. Enter Promo Code (if any) to enjoy our service at a more attractive price before confirming your booking.

You may view all of your booking status under “My Booking” in the RushTrail App. If your trip is reflected under "Activity", your trip has been booked successfully. You can also find more details of your trips there.

Once a ride has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or modified. Please check all your booking information (destinations, time, number of pax and price) before making payment to ensure that there are no hiccups with your upcoming ride.

We will notify you about the Driver status when (s)he is arriving, via the RushTrail app so do ensure that you have grant RushTrail access to send notifications under your mobile phone “Settings”. We also provide Driver’s live location on the home screen of the app for you to track our bus service.

Your safety is our utmost priority and thus, the drivers are not allowed to take any phone calls or messages from passengers. If you happen to encounter any issue or simply desire to obtain more information about our service, our staff are there to support you 24/7 via the in-app chat box and/or via email at info@rushowl.sg.

We will notify you about the vehicle’s plate number upon booking confirmation via the RushTrail app so do ensure that you have grant us access to send notifications under your mobile phone “Settings”. We also provide Driver’s live location on the home screen for you to track our bus service.

Unfortunately, it would not be possible as our drivers are notified beforehand on the number of passengers that (s)he is picking up.
We understand that it would be fun to have company on board and thus, we highly recommend your friends to download the RushTrail app and make the booking themselves so that you can commute together! Alternatively, you can book on behalf of them by adjusting the number of pax during the booking process.

Our service is for the community at large and thus, the bus schedules are fixed after the booking timings have been cut-off and we strictly adhere to that. We will not be able to make a return trip or wait for any passengers who are running late. Our vehicles will provide a grace waiting period of only 1-2 minutes as other passengers will need to get to their destinations on time. We would greatly appreciate your early presence at the pick-up points at least 5 minutes in advance to avoid this unwanted situation.

Payment

We do not have a fixed price for each ride. The fare will vary according to the distance and duration of the chosen journey but we assure that our pricing is reasonable and affordable. The price of your trip will be reflected on the page in the RushTrail app before you make your payment.

You can pay via the RushTrail app either using your credit/debit card or your RushPay Wallet. Do note that if you are purchasing a credit bundle, you can only make your payment via the RushPay Wallet. Unfortunately, cash payment is not available as of now, but we are working hard towards providing you with more convenient modes of payment in time to come.

RushPay is RushTrail's new cashless mode of payment that allows you to transact seamlessly while making payments in-app and offers you discounts as you top-up your wallet.

Step 1: Go to "View my Profile".
Step 2: Upon seeing your RushPay wallet, proceed to "Top-up".
Step 3: Enter an amount to top-up. The more you top-up into your RushPay wallet, the more discounts you get.
Step 4: By topping up your RushPay wallet, you can get a discount of up to $10.
Step 5: Select "Payment Method" and add your credit card details.
Step 6: Complete your RushPay Wallet top-up!

You can check your monthly credit balance in-app by pressing the "RushPay" button at the button of the home screen.

A minimum top-up of $10 is required.

Yes you can. However, please note that the minimum withdrawal from your RushPay wallet is $10 and an administrative charge of $1 will apply upon each withdrawal transaction.

Once a ride has been booked successfully, the paid amount will not be refunded. Our drivers are committed to shuttling you upon booking confirmation and the amount will be paid to drivers as a form of compensation for their vehicles' fuel.

PickMe! for Schools

PickMe! offers a 5-day week one-way cost for this service are as follows:

  • 4 Pax: SGD 200 per pax per month
  • 5 Pax: SGD 170 per pax per month
  • 6 Pax: SGD 150 per pax per month
  • 7 Pax: SGD 138 per pax per month
  • 8 Pax: SGD 125 per pax per month
  • 9 Pax: SGD 118 per pax per month

RushTrail shuttle service requires only a minimum of 4 pax is required to start a route up to a maximum of 9 pax. You can also loop in fellow parents from the same school within your home's vicinity for PickMe! for Schools. The sooner your ride hits 4 pax, the earlier we can launch your preferred route. Referrals to other parents can earn you more rewards!

You can download the RushTrail app and click on the 'Schools' button on the dashboard after signing up. 

Upon activation of the bus, an in-app notification will be sent to you. Click on the notification and you will be able to view the bus' live location. Alternatively, you may also refer to the bus schedule that was sent to you via your email upon booking confirmation. 

All monthly subscription plans are non-refundable after payment has been made. The subscription can only be cancelled anytime 5 days before the next the billing cycle. Please note that subscription cancellation will take effect for the following month's ride.

We will confirm the pick-up timing with you through an email confirmation after payment has been made. 

 

Do note that your child has to be at the pick-up point 5 minutes before the given timing to ensure that all the students can reach school on time. In the event that your child is more than 10 minutes late, the bus driver will have to leave the pick-up point without your child.

If your child is unable to attend school on that day, you can cancel the necessary trips through our app, do note that this cancellation is also non-refundable.

RushTrail will only cater to the request if the point is 2km away from your indicated pick-up or drop-off point. Your request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For more enquiries, you can drop us an email at school@rushowl.sg

These are done within a time frame of 60 minutes from the first pick up to the last drop off, subjected to traffic conditions. For schools, the waiting time for the queue to drop-off or pick-up your kids at school will not be included in the time frame.

The pick up timings will be reflected in-app once payment has been made and a vehicle is secured for the trip. Timings are subjected to changes based on our optimisation but will still be within the 1 hour time frame. Do note that RushOwl has the right amend the timings and schedule of the routes at anytime.

RushOwl would require a maximum of 2 weeks lead time to source and screen the vehicles and drivers prior to deploying the route. Should the vehicle and driver be cleared for deployment early, an in-app notification will be sent to you. Similarly, should RushOwl not be able to serve your route, we will inform you timely.

Vehicles and drivers provided will be subjected to changes as drivers come and go however, we will do our utmost to ensure a permanent vehicle and driver is set. Do note that RushOwl has the right to change vehicle and drivers as necessary at anytime.

Should one child drop out and the vehicle is left with 3 pax, we will give parents a one month lead time to find a new passenger or find an alternative transportation. RushOwl will continue to source for passengers as well but will not be able to promise a service continuation should no passengers take up the service.

There will not be any bus attendant for this service unless the vehicle is 100% filled with children 6 years old and under. There will be an additional charge of SGD 220 per pax per month for a bus attendant (one-way).

At home, the pick-up and drop-off point will be at the service road or car park closest to the lift landing at HDB blocks, the pick-up/drop-off point or the closest block to the security guardhouse at condominiums or immediately in front of the gates at landed properties.

At school, the pick-up and drop-off point will be at closest allowable point as specified by the school. Typically, for Secondary and Tertiary schools, the point will be just outside the main gate. For Primary and International schools, within the school compound. For special arrangements such as vehicle decal requirements to enter school compound, we do seek parents assistance to inform the school from time to time should there be any changes to the vehicles and/or drivers. The vehicle details can be found in-app.

Should you require private transport arrangement, please proceed to use “PickMe!” instead of “PickMe! for Schools” to arrange private transportation. However, as drivers are trained differently for schools, please note that PickMe! will only drop-off or pick-up students outside the school compound.
